So, to add the cool lamp to our library, first we gotta open up Clip Studio Pro. Once it’s up and running, we need to open Modeler. Modeler is this awesome app in Clip Studio Pro that lets you convert meshes into this special format so they can be reused as 3D materials in your library.
To make a sweet new 3D material, just click on File/New and boom, a little pop up window will be like, “Yo, what kinda work you wanna create?” For this wicked example, choose create 3D object. Then click on Object Configuration/Root Node. At the bottom of the window, you’ll see some sick options like Add New, Add from File and Add from Library. Since we got our futuristic street lamp all ready to go, let’s find that file in our project folder and open it up. Easy peasy!
Once you’ve opened up the super cool street lamp of the future, it’s time to add your stuff to the library. Just click on File and select “Register new material.” Give your material a cool name and pop it into the 3D library to keep things organize. Click “ok” you’ve successfully added a brand new 3D object to your library. Proceed to open Clip Studio Paint create a new project and drag your new futuristic street lamp, into the screen.
You can totally manipulate the new 3D object on the screen using scale, rotate, and other tools. Plus, you can tweak the tones, line width, shadows, and a bunch of other cool settings to make the object look exactly the way you want it to.
